Norconsult has maintained a permanent establishment in Maputo, Mozambique since 1980, with the establishment in 1998 of a registered company under the name Norconsult Moçambique Limitada, with office in Maputo.

Norconsult Moçambique Lda combines its resources with Norconsult head office, other Southern African subsidiaries and local partners, in order to establish project teams fully capable of handling all aspects of project preparation and execution, presently focused on the power sector, but also on activities in the roads, environment and other economic sectors, as well as institutional development.

Norconsult Moçambique Lda is a key player in the Norconsult group's focus on Mozambique, as a potential hydropower generation and transmission market in the Southern African region, for its international business.
