Vegard Jacobsen has served as EVP for Norway Regions since 2021. He has held several leadership positions within Norconsult, including Director of Region Innlandet and Head of the Hamar office.
Prior to that, he held the position as engineering director for the contractor Betonmast Selvaagbygg, and he got broad project experience from Norconsult’s head office. From 2015 to 2021, he also served as employee-elected member of the Board of Directors.
Jacobsen holds a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Hernes has been with Norconsult since 1986 and has held a wide range of positions across the company prior to becoming EVP.
The recruitment process for a new EVP for Norway Regions will begin immediately.
