Norconsult AS acquires March 1st, 2010 all shares in Techno Consult Møre AS, thereby further strengthening its presence in the Western part of Norway. Techno Consult Møre continues from the same date its activities as an integral part of Norconsult and maintains offices in Ålesund, Kristiansund and Molde, Norway. All employees will continue in their positions after the acquisition.
Sandvika, Norway - February 15, 2010 - Norconsult AS, Norway's leading multidisciplinary consultancy focused on community planning and design, will take over all shares in Techno Consult Møre AS March 1st, 2010. Techno Consult Møre has provided advise within HVAC, energy, climate and electrical engineering since 1968, and has a very strong position in the Møre and Romsdal region. The company has 22 employees and is the largest consulting engineering companies within the HVAC and climate technology between Bergen and Trondheim.

Norconsult has an existing office in Molde, which mainly is engaged in consulting in power transmission, construction engineering, engineering geology and project management. In combination with a strong HVAC and electrical engineering group from Techno Consult Møre, Norconsult will emerge as a strong interdisciplinary adviser in the North-Western part of Norway.
