Norconsult takes over Skovhus Arkitekter
Norconsult is boosting its architecture capability with the takeover of Danish company Skovhus Arkitekter. The acquisition will help Norconsult to meet the growing demand for interdisciplinary services.
– Our clients are increasingly demanding interdisciplinary architecture and consultancy services, explains Managing Director of Norconsult in Denmark, Thomas Bolding Rasmussen. With Skovhus Arkitekter on board, Norconsult will be able to deliver a broad and holistic offering to its clients, in particular in residential development and retail. Clients will experience a single contact point.
Skovhus Arkitekter have offices in Aarhus and employ 17 staff. Following the acquisition, Norconsult has around 130 employees in Denmark. The two companies have collaborated closely in the past, and founder and CEO of Skovhus Arkitekter Kim Skovhus sees further development opportunities as part of the Norconsult Group.
