Norconsult has recently signed a new contract with the Norwegian Water and Energy Directorate (NVE), and will provide inhouse consultants work to the Ministry of Electric Power in Myanmar.
In addition, Norconsult will assist the ministry in performing a feasibility study of a new 100-150 MW hydropower plant. The project will be running for two years and Norconsult is in association with Multiconsult.
Norconsult has for more than one year has been assisting the Ministry of Electric Power under different contracts financed by the Norwegian government.
Norconsult was involved in several electricity projects in Myanmar (Burma) during the 1980s and 1990s, and has a good and well-known reputation in the country
